"Todo territorio representa un límite silencioso, implica hablar de una espacialidad simbólica que se halla contenida por otras que la circundan.
Es hablar también de restricciones, fisuras, tensiones internas...

En la obra de Nieto, estos "paisajes" como podrían definirse hacen un anclaje en la historia del arte. Una serie que surge en momentos de encierro y visiones de una cotidianeidad exhausta, la artista recupera obras de artistas como Courbet, Velasco Gomez y Goya.

Se apropia de esos lugares que le resultan extraños e interviene con la intención de quebrar los silencios... generando otras posibilidades. Respirar sobre el cuerpo del otro, buscando otra experiencia posible en la imagen. Entendiendo el paisaje como una proyección de un horizonte siempre personal. Los paisajes que ya no veremos es el trazado de un mapa propio en cuerpos ajenos.

Un recorrido que entiende que la obra nunca está cerrada... siempre se reedita, toma lugar según quien la observe sabiendo que ante las imágenes como dice Huberman, nosotros somos el objeto finito."

In Nieto's work, these "landscapes" as they could be defined, are anchored in the history of art. A series that arises in moments of confinement and visions of an exhausted daily life, the artist recovers works by artists such as Courbet, Velasco Gomez and Goya.

She appropriates those places that seem strange to her and intervenes with the intention of breaking the silences... generating other possibilities. Breathing on the body of the other, looking for another possible experience in the image. Understanding the landscape as a projection of a horizon that is always personal. The landscapes that we will no longer see is the tracing of a map of our own on other bodies.

A journey that understands that the work is never closed... it is always reissued, it takes place according to who observes it, knowing that before the images, as Huberman says, we are the finite object."
