“Conocí a una chica en la zona de Liniers, revolviendo lo que yo entendía como basura.
Ella me mostró este gancho y cómo se usa.
Comprendí que era una herramienta más (de trabajo, de supervivencia, nosé aún...) lo que me sorprendió es que el mango estaba armado con plástico y recubierto en stickers de colores. Tenía pintada la punta de rosa.
Ella lo había personalizado. Ese gancho era suyo.
Pensé entonces varias cosas:- que donde vivía debía de haber ganchos-Otros,- que ciertas cosas no pueden ser arrebatadas tan fácilmente, como el orgullo y el sentido de tener algo propio.- que ella no necesita que NADIE "le enseñe a pescar.

“I met a girl in the Liniers area, rummaging through what I understood as trash.
She showed me this hook and how to use it.
I understood that it was just another tool (for work, for survival, I don't know yet...) What surprised me was that the handle was made of plastic and covered in colored stickers. The tip was painted pink.
She had personalized it. That hook was hers.
Then I thought several things:- that where she lived there must be hooks- Others,- that certain things cannot be taken away so easily, like pride and the sense of having something of her own.- that she does not need ANYONE to "teach her how to fish"
